Remembrance Day Service – 11 November 2024

This Remembrance Day service in Albury honours the Australian men and women who have died in wars and peacekeeping operations. The service features a catafalque party, wreath laying, prayers, hymns, and addresses commemorating the sacrifice and legacy of Australian service members. It includes remarks from the master of ceremonies Nigel Horne, a remembrance poem, and a keynote address by Colonel Clare Calloway. The service concludes with the playing of the Australian National Anthem by a lone piper. This solemn ceremony pays tribute to those who gave their lives for their country and reminds the community of the ongoing cost of freedom.
