We hope that the time leading up to your wedding day will be an exciting and happy one. We know it will also be busy so we are ready and willing to help in any way to make your wedding day extra special. St Matthew’s Albury is a wonderful place to be married for couples planning to be married since the very first bride was married at St Matthew’s 150 years ago. In addition to the outstanding beauty of the church, the long central aisle has provided a memorable walk to the altar for countless brides over the passage of years.

St Matthew’s has an equally long experience in hosting all manner of people including Diana Princess of Wales as well as children and pets. Marriages at St Matthew’s are celebrated in the breath-taking beauty of one of the regions most prestigious and historic churches. You will be surrounded by a sense of beauty, awe, tradition, and history, in addition to your family and friends, as you exchange vows at St Matthew’s, whether you want a grand occasion with many guests, a small family wedding, or a country wedding experience.

There are of course many wonderful locations within Albury for you to have your special day such as local Gardens, by the River and in parks. If your preference is for a wedding at one of these places we would love to explore this with you.

This page is a quick overview of some of what our Parish can offer you on your special day. Of course we would be more than happy to talk with you about your hopes and dreams for your wedding day.
