This special Remembrance Sunday service at St Matthews Albury featured music and remembrance compositions from around the world, including the world premiere of “For God So Loved the World” by Andrew Goodwin. The service celebrated the International Albury Chamber Music Festival, welcoming festival friends and honouring the musical traditions and patrons who support the festival. The service included prayers for peace, a Gospel reading about Jesus calming the storm, and a moving piano performance by young scholar Thomas Summerfield. The service closed with Holy Communion, a celebration of God’s love and welcome for all people, as the community came together through the universal language of music.
