In remembrance of Ursula Genaehr

Next Tuesday, 19th June, at 1.10pm to 1.50pm, St Matthew’s will host a concert in honour of Ursula Genaehr, one of the Border’s best loved musicians and teachers on the anniversary of her passing.

One year ago next week, Ursula Genaehr, noted musician and teacher passed away but her memory echoes in the region through her many students and admirers. She was particularly associated with wind instruments and appropriately the grandest set of pipes on the Border will sound with music to remember.

Border organist, James Flores, has chosen a varied program in homage to a teacher, original musician and inspiring community member. Donations will fund a masterclass for young musicians. All welcome to this ‘Tunes on Tuesday’.

In remembrance of Ursula Genaehr.
