This is a Fundraising Event for St Matthew’s Emergency Care, for refurbishing the Crisis Accommodation Unit in St Matthew’s Village and sharing HOPE in tough times.
Multi Golden Guitar Award winner and chart-topping singer/songwriter, Melinda Schneider, will sings songs of hope in an emotional, intimate and soulful matinee performance at St Matthews Church on Saturday, May 27.
Melinda will perform a selection of her original award-winning hits, some spiritual classics including Amazing Grace, Softly and Tenderly, People Get Ready, I Believe in You and Me, and some of the greatest love songs from some of Melinda’s most cherished singer/songwriters from the likes of Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Doris Day and more.
In recognition of her artistic achievements, Melinda has earned six CMAA Golden Guitar Awards and is a two-time ARIA Award nominee and an APRA Award nominated songwriter. Melinda’s songs have been recorded by numerous artists, including John Farnham, Olivia Newton-John and Paul Kelly. To date, Melinda has released 14 studio albums, three of which are certified Gold.
