St Matthew’s Albury and the St Matthew’s Music Association respectfully announce a Tribute Concert in honour of the life of Dr Rod Paton.

Featuring Thomas Summerfield, piano and Aylish Jorgensen, cello, performing some of the great works for piano and cello, including an arrangement of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 and other Romantic classics.

Rod was one of the most regular attendees at Tunes on Tuesday and our concert series. He was part of the St Matthew’s congregation, a friend, and a keen supporter of the St Matthew’s Music Association and its work supporting young musicians in regional Australia.

We are pleased to welcome back two of our distinguished alumni, Thomas and Aylish, who are returning to Albury especially to perform this tribute concert.

Community members, past patients, colleagues, members of the Albury Club and lovers of fine music are all very welcome.

Donations from the concert will be used to establish a music scholarship in Rod’s name.
